Marvel Rivals has switched on its latest limited-time event, Path to Doomsday – Avengers: Endgame, bringing a fresh PvE-style encounter, free cosmetics and two quick Times Square rewards. The update went live on 22 October 2026 without scheduled server downtime, while the headline mode begins on 24 October in three limited sessions.
The most important reward is Captain America’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier costume, which NetEase says can be earned free through the event. Players can also collect an Avengers: Endgame Gallery Card and 100 Units in Times Square before the wider event finishes on 26 November.
Marvel Rivals Path to Doomsday dates and UK times
The overall Avengers: Endgame event runs from 22 October at 10:00 BST until 26 November at 09:00 GMT. Britain changes from BST to GMT on 25 October, which is why the same 09:00 UTC endpoint converts differently.
The playable Path to Doomsday mode starts on Saturday, 24 October. NetEase has confirmed three opening-day sessions:

The publisher says the mode will return at limited times across four consecutive weeks. However, it has not published every later session in the patch notes, so players should check the in-game event panel rather than assuming the opening-day timetable repeats unchanged.

Playing the Path to Doomsday event can unlock Captain America’s Winter Soldier costume. The official notes confirm that it is free, but they do not yet spell out the exact number of matches, objectives or event points required. Visit the viewing area in Times Square and watch the Avengers: Endgame highlights screening continuously for two minutes. Completing that simple interaction unlocks the exclusive Gallery Card – Avengers: Endgame.
100 free Units
Outside the Avengers Gift Shop in Times Square, use one of the iconic-scene photo walls and take a group photo with the NPCs. NetEase says this instantly awards 100 Units. It is a small amount, but the task is fast and separate from the limited Path to Doomsday sessions.
What is Path to Doomsday – Avengers: Endgame?
The story sends players against a past version of Thanos whose forces are tearing apart the restored timeline. It continues Marvel Rivals’ sequence of Path to Doomsday events, this time built around Avengers: Endgame.
The official patch notes deliberately keep the mechanical description brief. They confirm an “epic battle” and the free Captain America costume, but do not yet list team size, selectable heroes, difficulty tiers or a complete reward track. Black Cat’s Fatal Weaver bundle and Elsa Bloodstone’s Gothic Huntress bundle are available from 23 October at 03:00 BST until 20 November at 02:00 GMT. The Jeff the Land Shark Sharknos bundle, Black Cat Fatal Weaver Emoji bundle, Shawarma Emote Combo bundle and The Snap Emote Combo bundle also arrive at 03:00 BST on 23 October, with no end date stated for that second group.

Bug fixes in the 22 October patch
The update also fixes ability, visual and audio problems affecting Black Cat, Black Widow, Hawkeye, The Punisher, Psylocke, Doctor Strange, Blade and Thor. A Competitive issue that failed to count some Team Wipes towards ACE! achievements when an opponent quit has also been corrected.
NetEase says the patch requires no downtime: players only need to update the client. If the event panel is missing, first confirm that the game has installed the 22 October build and restart it before troubleshooting account or platform issues.
