Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 has a new digital pre-order bonus: the Inner Circuit M4 Weapon Blueprint. The weapon build is available across supported platforms, but Xbox Series X|S players get a special translucent OG Green visual treatment celebrating 25 years of Xbox.

The Inner Circuit is a fully equipped M4 Assault Rifle Weapon Blueprint included with qualifying digital pre-orders of Modern Warfare 4.
The important detail is that the weapon has two visual treatments. Both versions use the same attachments and have identical gameplay performance, but the appearance changes depending on the platform where the blueprint is used.
Xbox Series X|S Gets the Translucent OG Green Version
Players who digitally pre-order Modern Warfare 4 on Xbox Series X|S see the Inner Circuit M4 with a translucent green finish inspired by classic Xbox hardware.
Activision describes this as the OG Green visual treatment created to celebrate 25 years of Xbox. The transparent finish exposes internal weapon details and gives the M4 a distinctive retro Xbox look.
This green anniversary appearance is specific to Xbox Series X|S consoles. It is not a selectable colour option that can be switched on manually.
What Does the Inner Circuit Look Like on PS5, PC and Switch 2?
Players on PlayStation 5, Steam, Battle.net, Xbox on PC and Nintendo Switch 2 receive the same Inner Circuit M4 Weapon Blueprint, but with an alternate mil-spec visual treatment.
The build, attachments and gameplay characteristics remain the same. Only the visual appearance changes.
Activision also confirmed an unusual cross-platform detail: if a PC or PlayStation player sees an Xbox Series X|S player using the blueprint, the non-Xbox player sees the mil-spec appearance, while the Xbox console player continues to see the translucent green anniversary version.
Inner Circuit M4 Attachments
The Inner Circuit M4 comes with five attachments focused on handling, mobility, recoil control and close-to-mid-range performance:
- 11.5" Shortline Barrel — improves handling and mobility while reducing some recoil control and effective range.
- FTAC Dominion Muzzle — helps reduce vertical and horizontal recoil.
- FSS Fireline Grip — improves firing stability, with a trade-off to snap-to-sight speed.
- SZ Prima-4 Dot Optic — provides a clean dot sight picture.
- ZLR ASP50 Stock — reduces weight and improves movement and handling speed.
According to Activision, the setup is intended for mobile play at close and medium ranges and can also work as a secondary-style rifle alongside a sniper-focused loadout.
How Do You Get the Inner Circuit M4 in Modern Warfare 4?
To receive the blueprint, players need to digitally pre-order a qualifying edition of Modern Warfare 4.
The Xbox 25th Anniversary green visual treatment requires the qualifying digital pre-order to be on Xbox Series X|S. Digital pre-orders on other supported platforms receive the mil-spec appearance instead.
If you already digitally pre-ordered Modern Warfare 4 on an eligible platform before the Inner Circuit bonus was announced, Activision says the blueprint is still included.
Is the Xbox Green Inner Circuit M4 a Separate Weapon?
No. The Xbox green version and the mil-spec version are the same Inner Circuit M4 blueprint with identical attachments and performance.
