Sony’s announcement provides the global promotional window and a long preview list, but it does not publish one universal discount percentage or price table. Check your local PlayStation Store before buying, especially if you are comparing a standard edition with a deluxe bundle or expansion pass.

Big games highlighted in the sale

The official list spans current releases, modern blockbusters and older collections. Notable entries include:

  • Cyberpunk 2077, newly relevant alongside the free Update 2.5 rollout.
  • Grand Theft Auto V, for players revisiting Los Santos before GTA 6.
  • Helldivers 2 Super Citizen Edition, combining the base game with premium extras.
  • Battlefield 1 Revolution, Battlefield V Definitive Edition, Battlefield 4 Premium Edition and Battlefield 2042 Elite Edition.
  • Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and the Final Fantasy I–VI Bundle.
  • Borderlands 4 Deluxe Edition, Dead Space Digital Deluxe Edition, DOOM Eternal Deluxe Edition and Hogwarts Legacy Digital Deluxe Edition.

That mix makes Planet of the Deals more useful as a wishlist-checking event than a single headline bargain. Players shopping outside PlayStation can also compare CODSKINS’ full game keys and gaming promo codes.

Best categories to check first

Horror games for Halloween

The timing lines up with Halloween, and Sony’s list is particularly deep in horror. Alien: Isolation – The Collection, Amnesia: The Bunker, Blair Witch, Cronos: The New Dawn, Dead by Daylight, Dead Space Digital Deluxe Edition, Dying Light: The Beast Deluxe Edition, Fatal Frame titles, Little Nightmares III and Until Dawn are among the recognisable options.

RPGs and long-form adventures

Cyberpunk 2077, Dragon Quest XI S, Metaphor: ReFantazio, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Final Fantasy releases, Persona collections and multiple Like a Dragon games give RPG players a broad set of choices. Before starting Cyberpunk, our Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.5 guide covers the new dual-wielding, customisation and Edgerunners 2 content.

Shooters and co-op games

Helldivers 2, several Battlefield editions, Back 4 Blood, Borderlands, DOOM, Far Cry, Killing Floor 3, Insurgency: Sandstorm and Warhammer 40,000 titles feature in the preview. Helldivers players can also read the CODSKINS Scope of Authority Warbond guide.

Collections, remasters and complete editions

Planet of the Deals also puts a noticeable emphasis on packages built for new players or returning fans. The preview includes the BioShock remasters, Capcom Fighting Collection bundles, Crash Bandicoot collections, Diablo II and III editions, LEGO game bundles, Mega Man collections and several definitive editions. These are often harder to compare than a standard game because DLC, cosmetic packs and platform upgrades differ between products.

Open the product page and read the included-content list before paying. A title carrying “Complete”, “Ultimate”, “Premium” or “Deluxe” in its name does not automatically include every item ever released. Likewise, a remaster may be listed separately from an older version already in your library. The safest comparison is the live UK store page, the edition contents and your account’s ownership status—not the headline name alone.

How to compare the deals properly

  1. Check the exact edition. A deluxe listing may contain DLC you already own or do not need.
  2. Compare the upgrade route. Buying a base game plus a separate expansion can cost less—or more—than a bundle.
  3. Confirm platform compatibility. Some listings are PS4-only, PS5-only or cross-gen.
  4. Review subscription access. A game may already be available through your current PlayStation Plus tier.
  5. Use the local checkout price. Sony states that selection, timing and prices can differ by region.

What is confirmed and what is not

Confirmed: the promotion runs through 4 November, covers hundreds of PS5 and PS4 items, and includes the games named in Sony’s official preview list.

Not universal: discount percentages, final prices and availability in every country. Avoid relying on screenshots or social posts from another region; the price shown in your own PlayStation Store is the relevant one.

The sale ends at 23:59 BST on 4 November 2026, although Sony warns that regional start and finish times can vary.
