Diablo Immortal’s Spawn crossover is now live, and Blizzard has published the full reward list, event activities and game-update details. The collaboration begins after maintenance on 29 September 2026 and runs until 1 November, giving players several weeks to earn Spawn-inspired cosmetics, weapon appearances and a new Legendary Gem.
This is a substantial in-game event rather than a simple shop drop. Hellspawn’s Vengeance provides the central reward track, while Hellspawn’s Bane and The Eighth Circle add themed combat activities. There are also paid Phantom Market cosmetics and limited bundles, so it is important to separate the earnable rewards from purchases.
Diablo Immortal x Spawn event dates
Blizzard says the wider Hellborne Horrors event runs from 29 September 2026 at 3:00 a.m. PDT until 1 November 2026 at 2:59 a.m. PDT. For UK players, the start time is 11:00 a.m. BST on 29 September. Europe, Oceania, East Asia and Southeast Asia servers receive the content after maintenance beginning on 28 September, while maintenance for the Americas is scheduled for 29 September.
Individual non-Spawn activities may use different end dates, so check the in-game event panel before leaving objectives until the final week.
All confirmed Hellspawn’s Vengeance rewards
The main progression track is Hellspawn’s Vengeance. Players complete weekly objectives across crossover activities to earn Vengeance Marks and advance through the track. Blizzard’s confirmed rewards include:
- Hellspawned Dominion Avatar Frame
- Necroplasmic Totem 2-Star Legendary Gem
- Six Hellspawn emotes
- Ten Hellspawn’s Guise weapon skins
- Legendary Crests
- Legendary equipment
- Set items
The ten weapon skins are the headline free cosmetics. Blizzard specifically says players can log in and progress through Hellspawn’s Vengeance to earn Spawn-inspired weapons for their preferred class. These are event progression rewards, not promo codes that can be transferred between accounts.
Hellspawn’s Bane adds six crossover powers
Hellspawn’s Bane is a themed version of Survivor’s Bane. Players fight endless demon waves, collect skill orbs and build a run around six powers inspired by Spawn: Hell Chains, K7-Leetha Cloak, Necroplasm, Hell Fire, Spiritual Manipulation and Agony.
A new timer eventually sends the player to “Hell” to fight Heap. Defeating the creature returns the player to the original area and drops a special combat orb that grants a temporary buff. Because the event’s reward track uses weekly objectives tied to activities such as Hellspawn’s Bane, it is worth completing runs throughout the crossover rather than attempting everything at the end.
The Eighth Circle boss fight and cosmetic objective
The Eighth Circle introduces Malebolgia as a Helliquary boss. Blizzard describes weekly time targets, ranks with improved rewards and points, plus a cumulative cosmetic objective connected to team boss battles.
The published requirement says the cosmetic reward should be granted after achieving MVP status four times in team boss battles with at least three players. That wording comes directly from the official notes; players should use the live event tracker as the final authority if Blizzard clarifies or adjusts the requirement.
How the Necroplasmic Totem Legendary Gem works
Necroplasmic Totem is a new 2-Star Legendary Gem. Dealing damage surrounds the player with Necroplasm for six seconds and increases damage dealt. The effect periodically attempts to consume a harmful damage-over-time effect. Successfully consuming one—or killing an enemy—launches a Necroplasmic Bolt at a nearby target, causing an explosion and applying Burning to enemies around it.
The gem is available through the event reward track and is also added temporarily to the relevant Elder Rift gem pools. Blizzard lists Blessed Pebble, Stubborn Oracle and Fading Nostrum as Resonance Gems.
Free rewards versus paid Spawn cosmetics
The free progression track should not be confused with the Phantom Market and limited-time shop bundles. Hellspawn’s Guise is the premium Crimson Cape-themed Phantom Market set, with an Empowered upgrade offering classic colour variations, enhanced weapon effects and finishers.
The Hellbound Leash Bundle includes Eternal Orbs, the Lil’ Violator familiar transmog, Legendary Crests and Gem Fragments. A separate Boon of the Hellspawn Login Bundle includes Eternal Orbs, Necroplasmic Totem, a random 2-Star Legendary Gem Selection Chest and Legendary Crests. Blizzard lists the Hellbound Leash Bundle as available from 29 September to 1 November.
Other changes arriving with the crossover update
The patch also reduces monster Combat Ratings in Inferno XIV and XV, guarantees Versatile Sockets on newly acquired green set rings and makes high-level Blacksmith salvaging safer. Magic and Rare equipment in Inferno XIII or above will no longer be selected by default when it contains socketed gems or upgrades, and a secondary confirmation prompt is being added.
A new Helliquary Gauntlet First Clear Leaderboard will record the first teams to complete each challenge. The update also contains targeted fixes for Warlock, Druid and Tempest abilities, fishing spots and collision issues in Westmarch.
What CODSKINS players should know
Blizzard has announced these rewards as account-bound in-game progression and shop content. There is currently no official indication that the Spawn weapon skins, avatar frame, emotes or Necroplasmic Totem are distributed through transferable redemption codes. Be cautious of listings that claim otherwise.
For other Blizzard rewards, browse the CODSKINS Other Games codes and DLC collection. Diablo IV players can also view the live Diablo 4 Trolli three-weapon transmog pack; it is a separate Diablo IV promotion and is not connected to this Diablo Immortal crossover.
