How to Redeem Fortnite Cosmetic Codes

This guide covers Fortnite cosmetic codes sold by CODSKINS, including wraps, gliders, emotes and pickaxes. A cosmetic code is different from a Fortnite gift card or a V-Bucks card. Always use the instructions supplied with your specific code.

1. Check the reward and your account

Read your order confirmation and check the cosmetic name. Sign in to the Epic Games account you actually use to play Fortnite. If you normally sign in through a console, use the matching console sign-in option and confirm the Epic display name before continuing.

Epic explains that Fortnite cosmetics stay on the Epic account where they are claimed and cannot be manually transferred to another account. Take a moment to check the display name before redemption.

2. Open the correct redemption page

Follow the link supplied with your code. For an Epic product code, use the official Epic Games product-code redemption page. Do not enter a cosmetic code into the V-Bucks-card flow unless your supplied instructions specifically tell you to do so.

3. Enter the code privately

Copy the code as supplied. Remove accidental spaces at the beginning or end, and check easily confused letters and numbers if typing it manually. Review the reward and account details shown before completing redemption.

Keep the code private. Do not post a photograph of an unscratched code card or an unredeemed code on social media. Anyone who can read it may be able to use it.

4. Check your Fortnite Locker

After a successful confirmation, launch Fortnite using the same Epic account. Look in the appropriate Locker section: wraps, gliders, emotes or pickaxes. Restart the game if it was already open. The item’s use depends on the Fortnite mode and its cosmetic support.

If a code does not work

Check that you are on the redemption page specified in your instructions, that the code is typed correctly, and that any region or expiry conditions have been met. Keep a screenshot of the error, with the full code hidden. Contact CODSKINS with your order number and the error message so we can check the order. We do not need your password.
